Hi folk,

we have recently launched an auction website (similar to E**Y) that allows to buy, sell, trade and place wanted ads.

The reason we are posting this here is not to blatantly advertise the site but just to make people aware of it. We are in the process of contacting universities and student unions all over the country in order to try and spread the message - students can get their books, furniture etc from other students at a price they are willing to pay. Although the site isn't limited to students.

We also want to create community among our members, so our site only allows UK registrations at the moment (although foreign students are extremely welcome).

Unlike other auction sites, the fees are free (although you can optionally pay for some things like getting your items on the home page etc).

The site is promoting it's launch by offering the following:
First 20 people = 100% off ALL fees for life
Next 30 people = 80% off ALL fees for life
Next 50 People = 75% off ALL fees for life
Next 100 People = 50% off ALL fees for life
Next 300 People = 25% off ALL fees for life
Everyone else = 25% off ALL fees for first 3 months.

The fees mentioned above include setting up stores etc also.
