While I am not new to eBay... and not new to AuctionBytes, I am VERY new to the discussion of Ephemera.

I have recently uncovered a stash of old magazines, most from the early '70s and before. Most are not in good enough condition to sell in their entirety but almost all have a good quantity of ads that can be harvested and sold individually.... which is what I am intending to do with them.

My questions for the forum are:
How is the best way to store harvested ads?
How is the best way to catalog them so you can find them once sold?
How is the best way to ship the ads once soldWith regard to the question about shipping, I have read thru several posts here and elsewhere and there seems to be some differing opinions as to whether it is acceptable to roll the ads in a poly bag and then ship them in a roller or tube. Some seem to thing this is perfectly acceptable, other seem to think this is a real no-no... and that they should only be shipped flat on some sort of backing. All of those posts and opinions were way back in the forum so perhaps some thoughts and ideas have changed, or others have additional thoughts.

Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions that the group might have, before I begin this new project, would be greatly appreciated.
