Sorry to bring up such a topic, but it was brought to my attention that Les Jones has passed away. Infomation was passed to me from the Amana show was that Les was in a motocycle acident. I heard today that Les died. Now, since I have not heard this direct from the family I am hesitent to pass on this information.

I dont know about the rest of you, but Les ALWAYS made any show he attended. There are few.. if any marble people out there, with the knowledge that he possessed. I will never forget on how you could tell Les was near.. with that BOOMING VOICE and how he was always willing to take the time and talk with even the most novice collector and explain what to look for when collecting marbles.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to his family and know that myself and the rest of the members of the Midwest Marble Club hold the Jones Family in our hearts and prayers.[/b]

If anyone can pass on any information on where to send condolences to the family, it would be welcomed.
