Hi, I am moving house and in the property we are moving to there is a lot of glass wear and pottery been left in a cupboard and one piece stands out as being a bit different but I cannot seem to find any info on the web.

I have a feeling it is not a valuable piece and when I get it photographed I will pop a picture up here but I wondered if anyone recognised the marks on the bottom.

The jug is about 6 inches high, a pale green and white colour/glaze? and possibly a little art deco in style and it has a dimpled pattern over most of the outside apart from the handle and spout.

Stamped into the pottery underneath is I think a mold number of 1784 and them embossed under it '4 and also Made In England as well, I know thats not a lot to go on but I will try and get a picture uploaded later tonight.

Not being into pottery my searches did not seem to bring up anything at all like it on the web
