I have a small pitcher, I assumed it was a creamer, that looks identical to the Johnson Bros. Canterbury pattern. Pottery is not my "field" quite yet (I'm still learning... slowly ), so I'm a little confused on this one. My mother collected pieces of Johnson Bros, she pointed it out often at Thrift shops, flea markets and in the stores, so I'm not totally unfamilar with the company. I thought all Johnson Bros. pieces were marked with the name because every one my mother pointed out was marked. There is no name on this piece. This one just says "Made in England". The mark is actually pressed into the pottery, it's not a stamp. I tried to get a picture of the mark, but I couldn't get it to come out at all. Both pictures are the same piece, just a view from a different angle.

Is it a Johnson Brothers piece or a look-a-like? And if possible, can anyone give me an approximate date this pattern was made, or if it is still being made? Thanks!!

Your creamer looks intical to a Johnson Brothers Regency creamer.
