I have a small silverplate? tray that was my grandmother's. It is about 7 inches in diameter and sits about 3/4 inch off the ground. It is at least 45 years old, but probably older. Aside from the stamp shown, on the bottom of one of the feet it is stamped NP.

I'd appreciate any help in identifyint the maker and what they tray is called.
