I went to an auction yesterday in a neighboring town about 50 miles away. It was a liquidation auction of an antique store. Fabulous stuff! Nice glass pieces and pottery and china ect. It started at 10:00 and sadly the auctioneers started with the junk stuff becasue some guy wanted the Elvis stuff. Slowest auction I have ever been to! Finally about 6:30 they started with the good stuff! I did get some some good stuff,(I made a killing on good enamel ware pieces) but had to leave at 8:00 before they got to the stuff I really wanted and did ask several times to do becasue I had to go. I took my 7 year old son with me and he was tired and cranked with too much pop and junk food (boy I am a bad mother ) I felt sorry for the owner of the items because they really did a disservice to her by not selling the high end items first!
