Hello everyone,

Found this little rooster the other day. He measures about 5 inches high. His head has a hole at the back of the neck like you would expect for a pepper shaker and there is stopper for this upper (head) portion. However......if his head is the pepper shaker, then what is the purpose of the lower portion of the body? It is open, about a 2-inch diameter. I thought about an egg holder with the head to hold the salt, but 2 inches is pretty large to hold an egg. He has a Japan mark in black on the bottom of both pieces.

Any ideas??? Thanks!
