I was a bit disappointed that the buyer of the clock haggled over the $8 price because they were going to get it for their grandchild. Then, rather than give it to the grandchild, it immediately went up for auction. It would seem that when you know you are buying an antique and that you are going to put it into an online sale, you should be willing to pay a fair price for it. Surely, you couldn't have known what the final price you would get for it, but a fair price should have been willingly paid.
