Had some ladies come into my store a few days ago. They had a ball. They came across an old 1950's dress that I was selling for $2.00. The reason why I had it so cheap was because there was a small rip in the back part of the seam (the rip was not on the seam, it was really more like a little hole). Anyway, one of them had this idea to cut part of the bottom of the dress and sew the bottom together and hang it on a satin hanger in her bathroom, which is already decorated in a more shabby chic decor, she is using this as a hamper for her delicate clothing such as stockings, panties and so forth. If you wanted to get really creative, you could embellish the dress with the proper type of buttons, laces and jewels to match it.LisaMoo
