What do you make of this hat. The feathers are soft but a few came off the underside of the brim when I was handling it. The feathers are very dense so that didn't leave any bare spots. That do-dad is a stylized flower in chenille and gold.

I wonder if this was a hat that you would wear with your hair up and it would sit towards the front. I almost thought that someone made it, rather altered a regular size hat, but I don't think anyone, other than a professional, could finish it off as nicely. What do you think?

measurements: 9.5 inches from front to back, 9.5 across or width. The brim is 2.5 inches deep. I've entered the url for the page it is listed on instead of putting just the pictures here. For some reason they came out better.
