Good morning everybody. I purchased this item not too long ago and am still trying to determine the maker and possible date.

It is a Maltese cross done in clear rhinestones, with 5 accenting green rhinestones. Over the cross is a crown, also with clear rhinestones. I've only got a 7x loupe but it looks to me like the clear rhinestones are upside down, while the green ones are right side up. The cross is 1" in height, the crown about 1/2". Supposedly it tested for sterling but there is no mark indicating such. It almost looks like gunmetal or something. The only mark I can find on it is that someone scratched in script - very neatly I might add - "B fm X". From a secret admirer? How fun.

I looked in some of my books and was wondering about Schreiner as the book said they sometimes inverted rhinestones. I've never seen that before and it is definitely interesting.
