Hi Everybody.

I new here and had an earlier post regarding an amethyst pendant my aunt sent me. Received it and took some pictures (not great ones).

The pendant is relatively heavy - I was surprised when I wore it the other day. I believe the cabachon is glass. It is open in the back and the back side is faceted - maybe about 12-15 facets. Not faceted like stones one sees today. The cabachon is pretty scratched up but still pretty. After polishing all the tarnish off of it, I think it is brass. Don't see any indication that it was gold-toned at one time.

Anyway, the bale is marked CAM&CO and was wondering if anybody knows anything about this mark? Rita has been kind enough to check her references, in addition to helping me learn how to navigate forum's.
