Okay, firstly, I have only seen the first Highlander movie, at the insistance of my boyfriend. I liked it quite a bit, but I have some questions..

The end... Did Connor win the Prize or not? My boyfriend says no, but I just don't get it. Why did he tell Brenda in the end that now he could hear everyone's thoughts and that he could grow old and have children and such now? What exactly was the Prize? If "there can only be one," then how is Duncan around later on in the sequels? He's Immortal, too, right? So were Connor and the Kurgan just mistaken in thinking that they were the last ones in the final battle of the first movie? And if Connor didn't get the Prize, then what was up with the blue dragons and skulls and lightning that zapped him after killing the Kurgan? What was that

I just don't get it. I mean, it's a great movie, and I like it, it just confuses me at the end.
