Posted at September 27, 2014, 11:37 pm: Yes, that's right, I'm asking for a title to a movie. But it's not like it's mainframe or anything. It's a short horror film, I would have to say it came out in the mid 80's. It was about a grumpy old man who didn't like Halloween and didn't want to give kids candy. His name was Mr. Kellop or Kellow, although the first name sticks out better. Now, the reason as to why it's a horror is that a little troll is the one who begins to terrorize the old man, coming in and popping up in your usual monster manner. The old man is eventually pranced on by the troll, where he is frightened to death and cockroaches, for some reason, now appear around and coming out of his body. Why, I don't know. His son later on appears to find his father dead, and the ambulance comes and assess the situation. The troll is seen swinging on a swing in one scene, and then pops up out of nowhere as the camera, for some reason, moves in on a static television set for a long time. There's also a part when the father tries to use the phone but it's disconnected or something like that. Your typical horror dilemma. At first, I thought this was Troll, but I'm not so sure if it is. I just remember this as a kid, and I always wanted to know what the name of it was. Yeah, I know, I can't believe I've scooped down this low to ask that age-old annoying question.
