What's the big deal with an NC-17 rating? In the UK our 18 classification is like the American R/NC-17, but it doesn't carry any of the associated stigma. I read the Wikipedia article on this, and am curious to see if any of you actually agree with the negativity surrounding the rating? And whether or not you're made any less willing to see a film because of it?
