i like films as much as the next person, well, a lot more so, and
last year i must have seen 300 movies, some of them a dozen times
over... looking back, i feel like, while i enjoyed all that relaxing time,
and the films i watched, that i missed a lot of experiences in life by being at home - watching films.

it is escape, of course, we watch a good film for escape, or
read a book - but all my memories of this past year are not really mine.

this only really applies to those of you who are avid/obsessional
video renters. like me
