300 is another succesful graphic novel by Frank Miller (Sin City) set for film adaptation and to be released in 2007. Zack Snyder (Dawn of the Dead - 2004) is said to be directing the film, and Miller as executive producer.

Tell me this doesn't look just awesome

300 is a historical epic based on the Battle of Thermopylae, a war between the Greek and Persian armies in 480 BC

The film is being shot in "digital backlot", like Sin City

Zack Snyder is also directing Alan Moore's highly successful graphic novel Watchmen
