Running With Scissors is the upcoming motion picture based on the book by Augusten Burroughs, which is bizarre and some might find it sickening. It deals with the author as a teenager and he's living with his mom's twisted psychiatrist and his family. I bought the book and started reading it after I saw the trailer before The Devil Wears Prada. I really love it, however, I'm not so sure if I'll love the movie. The trailer and the book don't seem the same to me... of course, I'm sure a lot from the book is bound to be removed and changed.

Who is looking forward to this? Who has read the book? I'm still not finished with Running With Scissors yet (slow reader) and I've already purchased the sequel, Dry, and another Augusten Burroughs collection of stories, Magical Thinking. (And it looks like the Augusten Burroughs books just keep coming because while I was browsing through Target's book section today, I saw a brand new Augusten Burroughs book called Possible Side Effects! eegah!

Anyways, I'll check that one out later. The Running With Scissors movie comes out in September here in the U.S.A.
