The Hogfather (one of my favourites), one of Pratchets Discworld novels is coming to TV in live-action form

Not so much of interest to Non Brits but coming Christmas 2006 Sky has commisioned the making of The Hogfather adaption. It will be shot as two 120 minutes films, with a £6 million budget.

Casting already includes Ian Richerdson ( House of Flyying Cards) as the voice of death and David Jason as Death's sidekick Albert. The Director will be Vadim Jean (Leon the Pigfarmer) and will begin filming in late March/Early April in Transylvania of all places.
