I just saw that Oliver Stone is going to make a movie about Alexander the Great, the macedonian conqueror. I think this is interesting knowing where Stone stands politically and the history of Alexander as a reflexion of what goes on in the world today. It makes me think of how Sam Peckingpah made "The Wild Bunch" about the Vietnam war disguised as a western.

What do you think? Any thoughts?
