Al Pacino ("Scent of a Woman"), Alicia Witt ("Urban Legend"), Leelee Sobieski ("The Glass House") and Neal McDonough ("Minority Report") have signed on to "88 Minutes." Jon Avnet ("The Core") will direct this crime drama
Witt plays a teaching assistant and romantic interest to Pacino, a college professor who moonlights as an FBI forensic psychologist. Sobieski will play a student and McDonough will play a death row inmate whom Pacino's character suspects is orchestrating his murder, which he was told would happen in 88 minutes

And no, this is not a sequel to "15 Minutes" starring Pacino's friendly rival Robert DeNiro!!
