Roland Emmerich ("Independence Day," "The Day After Tomorrow") will be helming "10,000 B.C." for Sony/Columbia Pictures. John Orloff (HBO's "Band of Brothers") is writing a rewrite of the script, which is based on an idea that Emmerich and Harald Kloser came up with almost a decade ago
"10,000 B.C." is described as a prehistoric epic that depicts tribal life at the dawn of modern man
