The Nominees

Dion Bebee, Memoirs of a Geisha

Robert Elswit, Good Night, And Good Luck

Emmanuel Lubezki, The New World

Wally Pfister, Batman Begins

Rodrigo Prieto, Brokeback Mountain

Which of these cinematographers served their film's stories best with their images? What other movies that weren't even nominated really struck you with their photography this year? I know there are other cinemtaography fans out there, let's chat up the work of these Director's of Photography going for the Oscar this year.
