I just looked at the DVD cover for Transamerica, to be released on May 23. See it below
I just want to point out something that annoys me -- now, I haven't seen Transamerica yet, but from what I have seen, Felicity Huffman does not look like this in the film.

I'm pretty pissed. This DVD cover is obviously an attempt to get the Desperate Housewives fans to buy the movie. Apparently they must have thought Felicity made up to look like her transsexual character, Bree, would be bad. This is really annoying to me. Having a regular beauty shot picture of a popular actor to sell a DVD is something I've seen normally done on lesser known, weak, forgotten films. But here comes this big, Oscar nominated film that deals with gay/transsexual issues, and they can't even put a picture that really represents something about the film itself on the DVD cover. This could fool someone living under a rock that Transamerica is nothing but blonde, sexy Felicity Huffman living out in the woods, trying to become a big country music star.
I know it's just a DVD cover, but it's really going to annoy me as I glance at it while pushing my red Target cart around on May 23.
