Why don't they rerelease classic films back into the theaters? I was born in 1985, so I missed out on seeing some great movies presented in the way their filmmakers intended. Films such as Superman (1978), Jaws (1975), Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), and Lawrence of Arabia (1962) would be amazing on the big screen. And not only would these rereleases allow the younger generations to see truly great cinema in all of its glory, they'd probably make a whole helluva lot more money for the studios that produced them. So why don't they do it more often?
