Post any poems you've written. I tried one last night. It's my first, so don't be too brutal.

The old wizard stared into the sea
From his favorite rock, higher than all around
Slave to the wind, his gold robes danced just off the ground
His hair as well, was made to fly forcefully

But this old man was filled with so much might
He could wave his hand, cause calm in the air
Or make the wind stronger, and use it to take flight
Fly close to a crowd, and give all a good scare
Or order people around without fear of commotion
Create a great beast who serves his every delight
And know that all will show him great devotion

But who will love him as much as he desires
Not them, nor himself, as he shows his strength
He flew back to his rock to glare at length
And again await his wish, the day he finally expires
