OK, so the title of the thread isn't exactly what I want to know. Basically, my tone sucks, and I know the best thing to do would be to get a new amp, since all I have is a practice amp. Problem is, I simply don't have the money to make a significant upgrade amp-wise. So, is it worth it for me to put money into changing my pickups? Will I really get a significant improvement in my tone with better pickups?
