so we recorded at a decent studio onto 1 inch tape with some decent mikes. we really feed off eachother so everything was recorded at once besides the vocals.

im hoping to get some opinions on the recording. the vocals are pretty terrible and bland. plus the singer is gone anyway. hence it wouldnt help to criticize his performance.

some potshots are ok on the performance and the music also. i wont take it personally.

i recorded with an american series fender strat in drop D tuning into a mesa triple rectifier and out a 2X12 cab.

our other guitarist used an ibenez prestige class in drop C tuning into a mesa trem-o-verb and out a 2X12 cab.

the bassist used a fender P bass special in drop D turning into an ampeg combo that i believe was 1X15.

drums were ludwig vintage recorded using a whole ton of high end drum mikes. i dont know a whole ton about the drummers shell sizes other than he used a 12 inch and a 10 inch tom on his rack and i think an 18 inch floor tom.
