I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, but I've never really devoted any time or focus to improving areas that I know I lack in. Well, I'd really like to devote more time and energy into improvement (my New Year's resolution actually) and I'm hoping you wonderful folks can help. I've been a long time lurker here at CA, and recently started posting a selection of my works for crits, but I think it's aboot time i had a sketchbook, so heeeere weeeeee goooo!
somethings i drew up while in iraq
this is something that i'm going over digitally, but here's the sketch
my wife and i went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs yesterday and i took a few sketches. I'll tell you what though, I really lost steam after my pencil became dull and i realized i hadn't brought a pencil sharpener or eraser, only a dull knife.
the gorilla is my favorite, i'm thinking about doing something else with him....
i sketched this while up on a 24 hour no sleep or tv or nuttin duty
i drew this for my wife (at the time she was my girlfriend) while i was in iraq

Oh yeah, I'm doing a 'sketch 100 of a body part' exercise in another forum, is it okay to also post those here so i can get mor crits, or no?
