I've always been curious about Latin music. Not Reggaeton, but more or less the stuff that you see sometimes when you turn on the spanish channel and see people dancing and having fun to the music of a live band. A while ago, my music teacher taught me this little progression that is often used by bass players in Latin music, and I loved it.

I guess I'm basically asking if anyone knows of some talented artists (doesn't even have to be a great/flashy bass player) in that genre because I would like to learn some of that style of music just to add another dimension to my playing. It doesn't seem to be most popular or talked about genre on the forums here, but it wouldn't surprise me if there were a few people who knew of some good songs/artists in Latin music so I decided to come here to get educated.

I appreciate any help at all. Thanks guys.
