Hello, this looks like the right place to put some of my work. I've been working as a 3d artist (games) for 2 /12 years now and rarely get the chance to draw at work. This is my try at getting better at drawing and digital painting. I think it's the best thing to do, I do not want to be a 3d only artist in the long term.

first, some speedpaints, 40-60 minutes. The earlier ones were done without much zooming or brush resizing so look muddier than the last. All from photo ref.







and some sketches from yesterday and today, all from life (orc head from a 1/4 scale bust). Next lot I want to keep things a bit cleaner:









Also here is some of my 3d work if you are into it, personal stuff that I wanted to do for learning and fun: www.artbyshape.com. My work is mainly environments so these were generally done as a break from that.

That's it for now, hope to update soon, maybe some anatomy studies next time.
