Hey guys need some help, been playing bass for years & i have never snapped a single string. However recently I have snapped to low E strings within 10 days of each other & one of them was an elixir string (i heard their the best) that wouldnt of been more than 2 months old. They both snapped at the exact same spot on the bridge. So obviously there's something wrong, my bass is an ESP Ltd. B204-FM. Do i need to lower the spring thingy on the bridge?
