I'm a junior in highschool and after i graduate i want to join the army, i want to be in the band (although i dont know whether i want to play bass or guitar) i read all the requirments online and other than sight reading i could have all the other stuff down by tommorow morning if i had to. Ican read music but it takes me a second to think about it before i can play, it i cant just look at it and play. I was wondering if anyone had any links to any websites where i can sheet music (preferably for free) or any other advice on how to become proficient at sight reading. I assume that 2 years is more than enough time to get good at it but if anyone disagree's please tell me. Thanks for any help and sorry for the long post.
