I'm sorry for all you MV fans, but I've seen them live twice, and I hated them both times.
This time I REALLY tried to like them, I REALLY DID, but man...

RCHP! Now they were awesome! Loved it and Chad was something else. There were alot of Jamming between John, Flea and Chad (including one 10 min jam with the Mars Volta Lead Guitarist, that took up all of the encore) and while it was awesome, I was a bit concerned on how Anthony felt the entire time.
All in all though, an excellent show. They played alot of stuff I've never heard before and only a few of their hits, but two of those "unknown" songs I loved.
Maybe you guys can help me figure out the names. One had a line that went "This is a repeat" and the other had Flea and John singing into the mikes something along the lines of "BEAUTIFUL!BEAUTIFUL!BEAUTIFUL!BEAUTIFUL! OH No!"
I had no clue what they were singing, but it was a rocking song and came right after his first bass solo (for those of you in Vancouver who saw the show).
