When I rimclick , I purposely do not mute the drum head with my palm , and combined with rolling back the snare tension , I get kind of a sloshy click sound out of it.

I quite like the texture when played fast as the rimclicks slosh into each other. I combine this with elvin jones rain concept on the cymbals to get a really ethereal sound of the kit


now only if I could buzz good on my bass drum , I'd complete the feeling



Do you have any ways to play different quite untraditional feelings and textures? if so how do you create your effect>?
