A face glimmers into my head
Its been years since I've seen her.
I ask myself
"Why did I let time tear us apart?"
We only saw each other on occasion
So this friendship was doomed
From the start of our first words.
But we didn't care, we pressed on
And found ourselves in each other's stare.

It was the week that quaked my life
My foundations were breached
And it was undefined on who I was.
Old friends missed how I used to be,
And New ones loved the suave style.
Buildings moved fast as I watched my feet.
I was on the runaway train.
Where it was all about me.

Of course I never cared when you were gone
I had myself and the idiot to my right
He nodded yes to every question.
My head blew and erected
