Writer's block is horrible. I'm rusty, and this is the first thing I've written in months, so I apologise.

...and as the pen drops through fingers
paralyzed with cramp and starved of creation,
clarity seems a million miles from here
to this tired soul, oblivious to its surrounds.

Congratulations, you write like I dream.
Monochrome ink spilling technicolour,
coaxing each clumsy mass of syllables to be
more than the sum of their parts.

My fictions and half-truths are scrawled on pages to
a meter measured only in seconds and years.
Inspiration and desperation serve only
to define each other as Angel and Demon.
