When I attempt to start my desktop computer it looks like a normal startup. It goes to the windows XP boot screen where the icon slides in the little bar. Then it goes to this blue screen that says this
"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer

Check to make sure any new software or hardware is properly installed

I really need this computer for recording, and this is bugging me. I took it apart and there seem to be connections plugged into nothing, although I have no idea where they should go.
Can anyone help me with this problem. Rather urgent.
