This is my first post, although I’ve been lurking around for about a month. I feel like thief for not contributing sooner. Everything I post here will be from my imagination without any reference. My goal this summer is to really build up my figure drawing arsenal. I’m gonna be posting new studies every day so hopefully this’ll be showing some improvement as the summer goes along.

Right now I’m working on Loomis’ books. Anyone know where I can get a pdf of Creative Illustration? I’ve got the other four in three ring binders. I drew a bunch of his funny heads, closed the book, and then drew some of my own. The figures are just some simple cylinders and spheres. I’ll be adding more and more anatomy as I learn it. Nothin too complex as of yet, but it’s a start. The halftone paper style was inspired by Mentler’s awesome anatomy studies.
