Right, i recently reformatted my harddrive and everythings fine appart from whenever i try to play a video (no matter what program i use) the video plays with a really low brightness, so dark you can barely make it out. Ive dLed loads of different codecs to see if it helps but it doesn't. Turning the brightness up doesn't work either, it just screws the colour up.

Is there anyone who know how to fix this problem? If not then could someone direct me to a decent computer help forum. Thanks
