A while ago a hair cut incident occured, so basically the hair on the back of my head is about 1/3-1/2 the size of the hair on the rest of my head. My hair is somewhat curly by itself. My question is, it isn't long enough so that sleeping on my back doesn't affect it.
When i wake up, my hair is all crumpled up and I think this is hindering its growth. What can I go about doing to help and prevent this? I tried tying it, but it makes it uncomfortable to sleep
EDIT: I should have known better than to post it here but many musicians have long hair and can help me with this.
