The following piece is the first step in a little project of mine to flesh out my portfolio and will eventually be followed up with 3d renderings of both scene and character, maybe some animation.

It's 100% photoshop work, just me and a lil' tablet. Easily the most ambitious thing of it's type i've tangled with, too.
In general, I'm pleased with it. It's turned out pretty nicely so far. It could be called finished, but then, I still feel that it probably wouldn't suffer from further attention.

The full psd is at quite large scale, and uses a great many layers. Ideally I'd like to print it out when finalised, too, which just makes me more certain it needs to be absolutely at it's best.




I've been putting this off, but yeah, basically, a no holds barred critiquing is probably exactly what I need at this point.
