I'm 17, and my friend and I want to organize a rather large event (throughout all the public high schools in our county, there are like 15, it's a big county) somewhere with live music for a cause, all proceeds to be donated to charity. We were thinking we could charge 10-15 dollars to get in, and we'd get 4 or 5 of the best high school bands in the area to play. We'd like to host it somewhere outdoors as well. We'd like to get a LOT of people to come, so we'd advertise our asses off.

Anybody done anything like this before? Are we crazy to even attempt it? Any advice at all? Any input would be appreciated.
