I'm one of the millions of Arabs and Muslims around the world that refuse to call Hezbollah terrorists. It's a known fact that Hezbollah is the only reasonable defence against Israel. Without Hezbollah's efforts, Israel would still be in the Southern region of Lebanon today.
What I also don't get is why is the US and everyone else blaming this war on Hezbollah. Hezbollah are trying to free 11,000 Lebanese and Palestinian prisoners who are being held in the Israeli territory today. Some of them have been there for over than 25 years. These are people who were randomly kidnapped in the Israeli - Lebanese war and framed as terrorists. I can't understand how any form of peace can be made between both sides without the release of those prisoners.
In the past 6 years (from 2000 to 2006), Israel has made it clear that they have no intention whatsoever to release those prisoners. Certain exchanges have only been made whenever Hezbollah obtained bodies of Israeli soldiers. Hezbollah had the right to act, just like the US is saying that Israel has the right to bring its own soldiers back. Israel, then, launched a full scale war and refused any prisoner exchanges with Hezbollah.
Today, Hezbollah is the only force reacting to Israel's brutal attacks. They're the only ones who are not afraid to stand up to Zionism's barbaric and unjustified random attacks against Lebanese and Palestinian people.
Since any resolution from the UN Security Council to stop the Israeli attacks seem to fail in the face of the US vito right, they leave no place but for war.
Hezbollah are also protecting Lebanese civilians from all forms of attacks. Just a few hours ago, they destroyed the Israeli gunboat that was aiming missiles at the Beirut airport.
Take the Hezbollah's weapons and Lebanon is left fragile in the face of Israeli terrorism.
