There is a term for it, but it seems to have slipped my mind. The way of thinking where people always think the world they are living in is worse off than it has ever been. Anyways, i am a firm believer that the world we live in today is better in most ways than it has ever been.

Now you can and many people WILL counter by listing 500 things that are wrong with the world today. Fine, go for it, rant on for as long as you want. But can you list an era or time in our human existance when there WASN'T a ton of things wrong with the world.
