Usually book threads are for the media center, but a lot of his books are political, I think I may be better off posting here.

I was reading speaker for the dead, and realized that the situation of the piggies parrallels that of the african nations incredibly. The whole, here, be smart, have guns idea isn't provoking intelectualism, it's just giving them the means to kill each other. OSC makes that point in an entertaining little story.
