Perhaps you could try more solid, colder blocks of colour.You need more detail.
ya i dont like the midground too.
the fog effect is cool but it should be its own layer.
ps: the dark blob on the right corner is incomplete.

its pretty cool, though i do not fancy the brush used on the closest r...
