Time to start a new thread as a new season dawns
For those who don't know: House stars British actor Hugh Laurie (Blackadder, Jeeves & Wooster, A Bit of Fry and Laurie) as the title character, a sardonic crippled (American) doctor. Along with his team of specialist young doctors, he manages to solve the oddest of medical cases in a convenient 43 minutes. While the medical cases are rather formulaic and this element of the show is procedural, it is the quips and character interaction that make this show interesting. The writers won an Emmy for their work last year, Laurie won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of House in January, and the show received a few nominations at the 2006 Emmys including Best Drama. It was one of the most popular television shows last year and is only growing in popularity
Last season ended with House shot and in need of intensive care, the new season begins with his recovery... and lets just say the gunshot wound wasn't the only thing healed...or was it
The season premieres Tuesday September 5th at 8pm on Fox in America, Global in Canada. The first few episodes will be in this new time slot, then the show will go on hiatus for the baseball playoffs, then it will return to its regular 9pm Tuesday slot. I will add UK/Aus/World schedules if anyone knows them.
So discuss/hypothesise/flame away.
