I want to use NI Battery to record a drumtrack on cubase using a midi keyboard but when I setup VST intrument I cant hear what I play during playback or real time. I see there is a midi signal in and the monitor for the channel go up.
I get midi to work properly when I use Keyboard with Creative soundfont or something like that.

I have the keyboard as the midi track input
and Battery as the Midi output.
